A little space.
A different default.

We’re ClearZone. We make spaces that automatically set aside chosen distractions on supported devices.

The feed never ends.
Your time does.

Your attention is your life.

A life on autopilot
isn’t the same as
a life of your own.

You shouldn’t have to
out-willpower the feed.

Digital slavery is our metaphor for losing agency to attention-capturing systems. Our answer: environments that help uphold your intentions.

About this demonstration

Choose a rule in advance; the zone applies it on your supported, participating device. This schematic boundary does not show measured coverage. The phone is an illustration, not the app interface.

From focus
to infrastructure.

Our long-term vision is infrastructure for environment control and digital government: clear rules for how connected spaces and devices behave.

Our starting point

Focus starts here.

FocusField brings hardware and software together for personal spaces. You choose what to set aside. Your place helps uphold the choice.

In development

Shared environments.

We’re developing software for schools, workplaces and government spaces. Authenticated rules, applied to supported, participating devices.

The institutional model

For schools and government, the intended model is a recurring admin-console subscription per room, with hardware included at no separate charge. Integrations, authentication, administration and auditability remain in development.

Long-term ambition

Digital government.

Infrastructure for environment control: accountable digital rules, shaped by the people and institutions responsible for connected spaces.

What we mean by digital government

Institutions setting transparent, legitimate policies for supported, participating devices, tied to place and permission. This requires clear responsibilities and appropriate oversight. It is an ambition for ClearZone, not a finished public-services platform or control over strangers’ phones.

The software connects it.

Platform in development
  1. Identify the space

  2. Deliver its policy

  3. Enforce on supported devices

  4. Manage and audit

Institutional deployment, administration and auditability remain work in progress.

Clear rules.
Human agency.

Your desk, your choice. Shared spaces need legitimate, transparent rules.

How we protect agency

Rules apply through authorised software on supported, participating devices. People should know who sets them and how exceptions work. Personal focus tools are commitments: the device owner retains ultimate control.

Research & what we still need to prove

Advertising and recommendation systems reward engagement. Meta’s annual report and TikTok’s explanation describe those incentives.

A 2025 mobile-internet-blocking trial found benefits, with substantial adherence limits. It tested a different intervention, not FocusField.

Lasting use, reliable operation and meaningful value remain ours to prove.

An unhurried corner

A little room to grow.

Something small, just getting started.

A small thing. Just for you.

This is only the beginning.

More room for thought. For presence. For something great.
